Terms of use

These terms apply when you play Blocked In. By playing you agree to them. If you make an account, you accept them explicitly in the game.

1. Who offers the game

Blocked In is offered by XS AI BV, Belgium, registered seat Fabriekstraat 38, 2547 Lint, enterprise number BE 1039.724.489. Contact: hello@truckerverse.app. Blocked In is a game by TruckerVerse, the community app made with drivers.

2. Play when you're parked

Never use the game while driving. Play only when your vehicle is parked and you are allowed to take a break. Traffic rules and the rules on driving and rest times always come first.

3. Accounts and ages

• "Just play" is open to everyone and needs no account.
• A game account (email and password) is for players aged 16 or older.
• A driver account (phone number and SMS code) is for professional drivers aged 18 or older. It is your TruckerVerse account, so the terms of the TruckerVerse app apply to it as well.
• One account per person. Give correct information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else uses your account.

4. Fair play

• No bots, scripts or other automation, no changes to the game, and no tampering with results, tap logs, codes or rewards. No mass sign-ups and no misuse of SMS codes.
• Our server checks every result by replaying your taps on the same lot, and may refuse a result that does not replay or whose taps come faster than we believe a person can tap.
• Once a week our server looks at the timing of the daily parkings that count in leagues played with a driver account. A week whose results look automated is ranked apart from the other players in the standings we keep for that week. You keep your stars, coins and points, and nothing is shown next to your name. You can ask what the check found, or ask a person to look again, at hello@truckerverse.app.
• If we find abuse, we may remove the results, rewards, app points or league places involved, and suspend or close the account. We tell you why, and you can reply to hello@truckerverse.app.

5. Rankings

• Leagues are optional and need an account. You can join or leave at any time.
• About 30 players of a similar level play in one league. A league week runs from Monday 06:00 to the next Monday 06:00, Brussels time.
• Your best 5 daily parkings of the week count. Only stars count; players with the same stars share a place.
• Nobody in the bottom third of a league is shown with a rank; they see "In the pack" instead.
• Players are shown with a generated name (a colour, a truck part and a number), which you can change for a new one, and a badge, Driver or Player, which you can hide in Settings. There is no free text. The rows of a league, with the badge, update during the day, so the people in your league can see your stars of today.
• The ranking with your friends is optional and needs an account. It shows the people whose challenge you cleared or who cleared yours, who signed up through a challenge between you, and your convoy, if they turned it on too. Everyone with stars in the week up to yesterday is ranked (on a Monday, the previous week); players with the same stars share a place.
• Drivers vs Players is a weekly average per team of the days on which the daily parking was cleared. It ranks no person and gives no prize.
• The +10 and +25 app points that drivers earn in the game never count in a ranking or a prize draw of the TruckerVerse app. The +30 for a professional driver who signs up through your challenge is the app's own reward for an invitation and counts like any other invitation.
• Rankings can be closed; then the game shows none.

6. Challenges and invite rewards

• Every challenge you share carries a random code. When a friend signs up through your code, you may get a reward: as a driver, +30 app points when your friend signs up as a professional driver with an SMS code, released after 24 hours. When a friend with an account who started through your link clears the first ten levels on at least two days, you get coins and a Co-Driver pennant (at most ten rewards for each month in which they are earned; without an account, per phone) and your friend gets a welcome gift in the garage. Clearing a friend's help request with an account can bring a few coins, at most three times a week.
• A reward is given once per invited person, to the first code that person used. A challenge can bring a reward for 120 days from the day it was shared (see the privacy notice). Rewards gained through abuse are taken back.
• With a driver account you also earn app points in the game: +10 for the daily of the current game day, once a game day, and +25 once per finished country. Time never raises app points.
• App points have no cash value and follow the rules of the TruckerVerse app. Coins and liveries are for looks and fun only: they are earned by playing, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and have no money value.

7. A free game

Blocked In is free. As a consumer you have the rights that the law gives you for digital content and digital services (Directive (EU) 2019/770, as applied in your country), also for a free game.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the game available and working, also offline, but cannot promise that it is free of interruptions or errors. We may change, improve or end parts of the game. We tell you about important changes to these terms in the game before they apply; if you have an account, the game asks you to accept the new version.

9. Liability

We are liable within the limits of the law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, nor your rights as a consumer.

10. Ending and deleting an account

• You can delete your account at any time: Settings, My data.
• We may suspend or close an account after serious or repeated abuse, and we tell you why.
• A game account without a sign-in for 24 months is deleted. We send an email 30 days before; signing in keeps the account.

11. Law and disputes

Belgian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute to the courts the law allows you to choose.
